Winter Showed Itself for the First Time Last Night

We got our first inch of snow for this time of the year last night. We also had some sleet and only a tiny bit of freezing rain. It is supposed to stay really cold; today's temperature is 6 degrees Celsius. There is a chance for more snow on Friday night. I hope there is mostly snow and not ice; when we get ice, there is a lot of car wrecks. The winds are calm today, but they were blowing hard last night! The barometric pressure stayed at 30.1.

It is cold outside today and it will stay this way for a while. It has been raining for two days now, and it will not stop till tomorrow morning. We already got 13 cm of rain. It is very windy also. The temperature is four degrees celsius. The pressure is 30.1.

We have have some stratocumulus cloud cover (I hope we don't have rain; it is wet enough already). Its starting to get colder and colder. I am rather surprised; we had a very hot summer.

The wind was coming from the southwest at 2-4 miles per hour. The cloud type is stratocumulus. The number #3 Arkansas Razorbacks lost to the #1 LSU Tigers. The score was 41-24. The Razorbacks ended the season with ten wins and two losses.

The weather has been very depressing lately. Other than that things haven't been very bad! Everybody is happy since Arkansas won against Tenn. Deer season has officially started. Weather!!!

Hello! This is Liz and Lynde! :)
In the past few days, it's been quite chilly! Some of us here have been needing to wear scarfs and heavy jackets. We have had a severe thunderstorm in the past week! Three seconds ago, our weather forcast on the internet told us that we had a freeze warning. Basically, that means it's supposed to get extremely cold here. Also, we are on an alert watch for the tropical storm "Sean". It is going to be coming around the North Atlantic coast. We are hoping it will turn around or "dodge" us. For the people on the North Atlantic coast, we "our school" will be praying for them. Also, we have had many recent earthquakes! Many of them, we have not felt, because they were 4.0 or less. Well, this is it for now!

Duck Season is almost here!!!!

Duck season is where you go hunting & harvest ducks. The season starts November 19th. The weather here is warm & cold. Here we need a lot of rain to fill the lakes, ponds, and ditches. It will help us be able to duck hunt. Most people will have to hunt on the river, because we have no water. We need about 4-5 inches of rain. It rained last night. A lot of people here duck hunt in Arkansas. It is one of the most popular! That was just a little bit about the weather & the duck hunting in Arkansas! :)

It hasn't been past 61 degrees in the past 2 weeks, the current high is 61 and the low is 39 today. Temperatures have down to 32 degrees (0 degrees Celsius) Fahrenheit. that is pretty cold for it to only be early November in Arkansas. Zelda skyward sword comes out Nov.20th!!

Deer Season!

Well, deer season is here. Hunting is where people will go out and kill a deer. If you guys don't already hunt over there. The youth hunt is this weekend and that is where the kids 16 years and younger can hunt with a modern gun. It has been bow season since October the first. It has been fairly cool arround here and cloudy arround here so the weather is pretty good for hunting.

The high today is going to reach only 67 degrees. The wind speed from the Southwest is coming in at 14mph. We are expected to have thunderstorms with winds at 10mph.

Today's weather is beautiful! Sunshine but a bit chilly. Last night the sky was red! It was red because the light in the air is being bent. The different air particales give off a reddish colour. Wintery Day

Today, it was 17 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 28%.  The pressure is 30.3.  The wind is flowing in the south direction at 10-15 mph.  The clouds are cumulus.  

Skin can only handle a certain range of temperatures.  It is colder today, so we have to make sure that we wear jackets and Carmex so our lips do not crack and bleed.

Fall, Fall, Fall Weather

Today has been rather pretty although we do not get to go outside. This morning it was chilly but not unbearable. It is actually starting to feel like Fall! It rained just a few days ago so it cooled off quite a bit. Right now the sun is shining and keeping it at a warm temperature. Hopefully we will continue to see these type of beautiful days!

Today in Pine Bluff the weather was nice. Right now the temp is 84 and the sun is partially blocked by the clouds in the sky. As normal the later it gets the lower the temp drops. It has to do with anatomy because, since the partially blocked sun doesn't get as much uv rays on us, we can go outside and exercise more so we won't get overweight.

It was quite chilly this morning. It was six degrees celcius this morning. It is 34% humid here and the pressure is 30.3. Our wind is coming from the North at 5 mph. Our cloud cover is clear. The Arkansas Razorbacks were ranked #18 but we beat #14 Texas A&M 42-38 in college football. Here at Ridgway, we have two baby squirrels that have been brought in to us.

Pine Bluff Weather

Today was a clear day sunny outside not many clouds. We had 3 to 5 wind not very strong it came from northwest it was not very humid outside we had 39% humidity. The pressure was 30.4 and the tempurature was 20 degrees Celcius. Saturday Arkansas Razorbacks lost to the Alabama Crisimsion Tide 34 to 17. And a tragic loss for the Arakansas fans. I have seen a biography on your country about the animals in Germany it was very interesting.

The weather is pretty fair today. The temperature is 20 degrees Celcius. The humidity is 60%. Pressure is 29.9! The wind direction coming from the North West at 4-7 miles per hour. The Arkansas Razorbacks lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend :(! Arkansas' coach is pretty upset that they didn't win. Arkansas has more talent then what they showed at the game Saturday! Hello, This is William and Tanner reporting on local wheather. Today is the last day of summer, and tommorow is the first day of fall. The tempertures have drastically dropped and the long hot days of summer are over. Now it's time to prepare for the battle with the long, cold months of fall and winter. Hello, this is Maleek and Logan. This morning was very foggy and chilly. On my way to school, the cars at least 10 feet in front of me were no longer visible. It is supposed to get colder tomorrow and a thicker fog. It is finally starting to cool down, but might be cooling a little too rapidly. I guess we're just gonna have to "adapt" to our changing environment.

Hey! This is William and Lynde! Yesterday we had a thunderstorm, but today is pretty sunny! At the beginning of the month, we had a cold front coming in from Canada, but now it's getting warmer. Although, today, we had an unusual chilly morning. We wanted to find a picture to share with you guys, and we found out Arkansas is going to have an upcoming drought. In the area that we're in, we are likely to have a persistent/ non-likely drought. It depends on where in the area you are. Well, I guess this is what we have for you! It Finally Rained

It rained yesterday and through the night. We have not had much rain lately, so this is good sign. It rained this morning too, and it is supposed to rain tonight and the rest of the week. So, we are going to play in the rain! :) Unless it starts thundering and lightning outside, then we are just going to imagine we are playing in the rain. But, that is all we have to say. Hay shortage

During this Arkansas weather there are quite a few farmers that have been holding their breaths hoping there will be enough hay to last out the year. Cow prices have been down these last few weeks from this years usual instant skyrocket. Farmers have been buying hay by the truck loads just to have enough to bear their cows/calfs. Texas has been the most greedy in wanting hay. They are willing to pay anything.

It has been sunny this whole week. Taekwondo season has just started and basketball practice at the school has just begun. Golf practice has started also. It has also gotten a little cooler from this summer.

Tempature Change

Last night at approximatley 8:45 to 9:00 the current tempature was around 53 degrees fairenheit. That is not normal for us here in arkansas because here latley it has been in the 70s to 100s range. the forecast for tonight is supposed to be around 50degrees so it is definantly beginning to fall colder and colder every night as we move closer into fall. The status for the rest of the day is goin to be sunny with a slight breeze. Sunset will be aproximatley 7:00 and sunrise is about 5:30.

It's Getting Cold In The Mornings!!!

So, lately it has been very cold. After having such a hot summer, this is very uncomfortable. On top of that the winds have picked up making it even colder. I guess this means the beginning of Fall because the leaves are changing too. On the bright side it's finally starting to rain again.

Well, we have been experiencing cooler weather since 9-5-11! Leaves have been falling and the wind speeds have been kicking up! It was 55 degrees Farenheit this morning around 6:30. The color of the leaves have also been changing from green to gold, brown, burnt red, and orange! Fall is finally coming! Such a beautiful and glorious site that God has created!

Welcome Fall!!!

Hey! This is Vickie and Blake and we are very excited to tell you that this weekend, Pine Bluff was blessed with some cooler weather for the first time this summer, and the weather has carried over to today!! Our high today is only 67 degrees! Winds from the North are coming in at about 13mph gusting to 17mph!! Hopefully this is the beginning of a very beautiful and cool Fall!!

Cooler Weather Is Here!!

Today is the very first day of September, and the weather is finally starting to cool down. The high today is 86 degrees, which is alot better than the extreme summer time weather we have been having!! The partly cloudy sky and the winds that are coming from the Southwest at about 3 mph, make for a beautiful September day. :) Hope you are having a beautiful day like we are!! :)

AR Weather Blog :D

Hey, it's Taylor and Jessie! :) Today's weather is 94 degress F. Although, it feels more like 100 degrees. Too bad today only has a 10% chance of rain, but rain would be NICE! :) To put on top of having no rain, we also have very, very calm winds moving 0-2 mph west. Since there is no rain at all and very calm winds, it could be dangerous to be outside for long periods of time without making sure that you are keeping your body very hydrated and cool. The heat could harm your body and result in heat stroke and dehydration and that would be very bad! Besides the heat, today is sunny and would be a great day to go outside and get exercise, be physical, and active, but only if you take the procautions of making sure that you are properly hydrated and keeping your body cool. Have a GREAT day! :)

Today's weather is very nice. There are blue skies with light, fluffy cirrus clouds. There is sunshine and warm weather of 30 degrees Celcius. The humidity percentage is 35% and the winds are calm with an average speed of 10 mph. The flowers are blooming the birds are singing. It's just a B-E-A-UTIFUL day :)

In this type of weather, people should be worried about to much sun exposure. They should be sure to put on sunscreen and drink plenty of H2O (water).

Today's temperature is 27 degrees Celsius. The humidity is 65%, and the pressure is 30.02 torr. It is calm, and there are cirrocumulus clouds outside. It's another warm day in Arkansas, but it's a bit cooler. It's not as dangerous for people to work out in the heat all day.

Today's weather is simple. It is not raining :) . As the sun shines it creates humitity from heating the water in the clouds and causes all or our hair to get messed up. On the downside Hurricane Irene is clearly on its way. It is moving up the eastern coast of the United States. A category 3 storm with winds at more than 100 miles per hour. The gases of this storm are being pushed around by a high pressure ridge. Its headed up the United States Eastern Coast and it is about to hit tomorrow 0_0. - Anna Ashcraft and Brittany Barker

Although there was quite a bit of rain yesterday, you would not be able to tell it by looking outside today;because it is just the opposite. The temperature outside is 87 degrees F and the humidity level is about 61%. It feels a lot hotter than it actually is but not as hot as it has been the past couple months. The high for today is 97 degrees and the low is 67 degrees.

Today in Pine Bluff it has been raining! At about 9 am it was raining so hard it felt like it was hailing on the roof of the school. it has also been really dark outside today. The clouds are still dark, but its getting a little bit lighter than it was. On days like today, it is best that you stay inside and out of the rain if that is possible. if you are outside on days like today then you'll risk catching a cold!!!

August 23, 2011 Weather Update:)

Although we have been experiencing a consistent wheather pattern in Pine Bluff, AR with temperatures in the 105. Today has been partly cloudy within the mid 90's. Even though their has been such brezzy wheather here in Arkansas it has been rumored of Hurricane Irene to hit sometimes within this week. Anatomy and Physiology is the study of the human body & how it works. We can relate our wheather to Anatomy and Physiology by saying to be aware of the Hurricane that may hit and to keep a safe. But also with the wheather here in Arkansas we can say to keep hydrated and to stay cool!

First Day of the First Full Week of School

Today's weather hasn't been as scorchingly hot as the past couple of weeks, but the temperature is still kind of high. Due to rain over the weekend, the humidity is pretty bad. Mornings and evenings are a bit cooler and the heat seems to be at it's worse between the hours of 1 and 3. In relation to Anatomy and Physiology, with this weather it would be wise to stay hydrated and indoors if possible. If you are outside, strenuous activities are not recommended.

Hello, this is Justice! Today's weather has been very cold! It was minus 5 degrees Celsius today. We had a light snow sprinkle today, and the roads were frozen. We also had freezing rain today. We all wanted to get out of school today, but couldn't since it wasn't that bad. I am getting ready for our basketball tournement. It is in Little Rock Arkansas. We won the first game so we have to go back and play again. What is basketball call there.

Hi there!! This is Lynde again! Well, as you read last time, I talked about how we had a lot of cold weather!! From snow to ice... and from rain to sleet. We're going to have to make up our snow days sometime during the school year. But this week, it's been pretty cool! The weather has been nice! It's partly cloudy outside, but also sunny. The temperature has been in the upperteens to twenties.. which is great compared to what we have had before! Well, till next time!

The New Year's Best Weather!

Hello there! This is Gabe and Lynde!
We haven't posted since last year! It's a new year now.. we all had a great Christmas break! How about you guys? Recently, the first precipitation of the year was SNOW! We got about 20.3cm and our coldest day was -13.3C. Which is kinda a lot for where we live, considering we hardly ever get snow. We got to miss two days of school! We were all very happy! Some people made snow angels, some made snowmen, but we all had snowball fights!! Fun.. very fun!! But besides that, it's very cold and foggy. We started school back on Wednesday.. the roads were still icy and slick, but good enough to drive on.

This Monday, we don't have school, because it's Martin Luther King Day! Otherwise known as MLK Day. Martin Luther King Jr was a civil rights activist who was assassinated in Memphis, 1968. He was a man who wanted peace, and for people to get together. He wanted African American and Caucasians to get along.
