Weather

Hi there!! This is Lynde again! Well, as you read last time, I talked about how we had a lot of cold weather!! From snow to ice... and from rain to sleet. We're going to have to make up our snow days sometime during the school year. But this week, it's been pretty cool! The weather has been nice! It's partly cloudy outside, but also sunny. The temperature has been in the upperteens to twenties.. which is great compared to what we have had before! Well, till next time!

The New Year's Best Weather!

Hello there! This is Gabe and Lynde!
We haven't posted since last year! It's a new year now.. we all had a great Christmas break! How about you guys? Recently, the first precipitation of the year was SNOW! We got about 20.3cm and our coldest day was -13.3C. Which is kinda a lot for where we live, considering we hardly ever get snow. We got to miss two days of school! We were all very happy! Some people made snow angels, some made snowmen, but we all had snowball fights!! Fun.. very fun!! But besides that, it's very cold and foggy. We started school back on Wednesday.. the roads were still icy and slick, but good enough to drive on.

This Monday, we don't have school, because it's Martin Luther King Day! Otherwise known as MLK Day. Martin Luther King Jr was a civil rights activist who was assassinated in Memphis, 1968. He was a man who wanted peace, and for people to get together. He wanted African American and Caucasians to get along.

Well, that's all for now!! We'll post again next Friday, and maybe we'll post some pictures of us in the snow! Gabe and Lynde:)
